First, critical patient data was trapped—locked inside faxes, PDFs, and phone calls with no reliable way to extract it completely or accurately. Clinicians spent hours on duplicate data entry instead of caring for patients. Interoperability was a buzzword, not a reality.
Second, virtually the entire patient lifecycle—intake, prior authorization, revenue cycle, patient engagement—happened over the phone. But nobody knew what was actually being said. Decisions were made on guesses, not facts.
In October 2023, Santosh decided to stop waiting for someone else to fix it.
